Come join our team and be a part of an exciting and rewarding organization!In this role, you will be responsible for developing and validating thermal models, performing system trade studies, generating temperature and heat transfer predictions, and documenting results to support design and mission decisions. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust thermal performance across all mission phases.Key ResponsibilitiesCapture and interpret system-level thermal and environmental inputsDevelop, verify, and validate transient thermal models in Thermal Desktop and Sinda/FluintConduct system-level trade studies to assess design options and thermal control strategiesGenerate detailed temperature and heat transfer predictions to support mission requirementsDocument analysis results and communicate findings to engineering and program teamsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's degree preferred)5+ years of relevant thermal engineering and analysis experienceStrong understanding of thermal fundamentals (conduction, convection, radiation, transient analysis)Demonstrated proficiency in thermal modeling and simulationHands-on experience with Thermal Desktop and/or Sinda/Fluint, experience in Star CMM+ is a plusExcellent communication, teamwork, and technical documentation skillsWe're looking for someone who brings technical excellence, leadership, and a commitment to quality —and who shares our passion for advancing safe human spaceflight.Selected candidate must be a US citizen.
