Pay rates starting at $29.50 and $2/per hour shift differential plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week. 

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.  Responsible for safely maneuvering trailers and equipment within the yard for approximately 80% of the workday, while also completing local off-site driving assignments and transportation duties as needed for the remaining 20%.

What you’ll do on a typical day

· Drive a 53 foot tractor trailer in and around the site or on public roads

· Touch freight position

· Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices

· Perform routine inspections

· Communicate effectively with dispatch

What you’ll need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

· 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years

· Must be at least 21 years old

· A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

It’d be great if you also have:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
