Role Description This full-time Family Law Attorney role is a hybrid position based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, with a combination of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The attorney will manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, property division, and related issues. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, providing legal advice, drafting pleadings and motions, negotiating settlements, and representing clients at hearings, mediations, and trials. The role also involves conducting legal research, preparing for and attending depositions, reviewing case documents, and collaborating with paralegals and other team members to move cases forward efficiently. The attorney is expected to maintain clear communication with clients, manage deadlines, and uphold the firm’s standards of professionalism and client service. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law and demonstrated experience handling Family Law matters. Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve a wide range of Legal Issues in family law cases. Proficiency in drafting and arguing Motions in court, including temporary orders and final orders. Experience preparing for and conducting Depositions, as well as reviewing deposition transcripts for case strategy. Active license to practice law in the State of Texas, in good standing. 1–5+ years of experience in family law or closely related practice areas preferred. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to manage a busy caseload, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. High level of professionalism, empathy, and client service orientation.
