Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide individualized, solution-focused therapeutic counseling to adolescents through one-on-one sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client. \n
- Conduct skills-building exercises designed to help adolescents navigate current and future challenges, emphasizing resilience and empowerment. \n
- Engage actively as part of a multidisciplinary team in treatment planning, crisis evaluations, and creating a cohesive support structure for clients. \n
- Perform comprehensive crisis intervention assessments, employing appropriate screenings to inform effective treatment methodologies. \n
- Deliver specialized care to adolescents with severe mental health challenges, cognitive impairments, or developmental disabilities, ensuring that therapy aligns with their unique needs. \n
- Facilitate group counseling sessions on various mental health topics, promoting a safe and informative environment for sharing and discussion. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation that includes intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other necessary records, ensuring continuity of care. \n
- Provide training to probation and detention staff on effective adolescent engagement strategies and support techniques. \n
- Collaborate with community providers to facilitate smooth discharge processes for clients returning to the community after care. \n
You will primarily work with adolescents aged 12-18 who are experiencing mental health challenges that may include anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our approach is centered around fostering safe spaces for open dialogue, where young individuals can express themselves and receive the support they need to thrive. Our diverse clientele includes patients from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring that our therapeutic practices are culturally sensitive and personalized.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work is required. \n
- Must possess an active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. \n
