Hybrid options may be available.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Work closely with onsite Sr. Benefits Manager on corporate benefit projectsSkilled in resolving complex benefits related issues and providing solutionsEnsure compliance of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulationsConduct new hire orientation to ensure employees gain an understanding of our benefit programsAssist with the yearly US benefits open enrollmentAct as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve benefit related issuesDay to day contact for all employees with benefit related questions and counsel employees on benefit plansManages the inhouse leave of absence process including possessing strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws.Oversee employee benefit events and assist with wellness activitiesRequirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related fieldMinimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in a Benefits positionDemonstrated ability to multi-task successfullyFMLA/Leave of absence & ADA experience requiredKnowledge of ACA, HIPAA, COBRA and ERISAExperience with Workday is preferredStrong analytic and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail neededExcellent communication skills requiredAbility to work in a team environment as well as independentlyProficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPointThis position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.Travel Time:0% - 25%Physical Attributes:Feeling, Hearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:80% sitting, 10% standing, 10% walkingMicrochip Technology Incis an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
