Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 1-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:

• Provide General Cardiology services in both clinic and hospital settings • See approximately 17-18 patients per day in an adult patient population • Work clinic shifts alongside one full-time physician • Participate in lab coverage 3 days per week • Collaborate with APP support staff, including Interventional support when performing General Cardiology duties • Provide coverage of 1 week plus 1 weekend per month • Perform and interpret special procedures including nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, and echo monitors • Perform CT reads (preferred skill) • Provide on-call coverage with weekend rounding as needed • Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and charting • Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology • Maintain active PA license or IMLC/LOQ • Maintain active DEA registration • Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of Cardiology experience
