Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)City/State: Janesville, WisconsinShift: Nights - Three 12-hour shifts 18:00 to 06:30, every other weekendContract Length: 13 weeksStart Date: 08/18/2026Job Description:Respiratory Therapist needed for 36 hours/week - 3x12 hour shifts. Every other weekend and rotating holiday schedule. Shift start time is 1800 to 0630.Responsibilities:Performs routine therapies that aid in the treatment, diagnosis, and evaluation of cardiopulmonary status.Performs and documents emergency rounds, oxygen saturation checks, and titrates oxygen per protocol during oxygen and aerosol rounds.Initiates, monitors, evaluates, and weans invasive and non-invasive ventilation. Makes parameter recommendations based on clinical assessment, patient compliance, and laboratory values.Initiates and evaluates treatment regimes including medication delivery and oxygen administration through therapist-driven protocols.Monitors and educates the patient and/or family on therapies, medications, goals, and equipment.Demonstrates competence in setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting ventilators and other respiratory devices.Responds to emergencies providing chest compressions, airway management, and ventilator support.Transports adult patients on mechanical ventilation and non-invasive devices for procedures and testing.Participates in community education events and in self-development activities for effective respiratory care delivery.Requirements:Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program - education verification requiredWI Respiratory Care Practitioner licenseRRT with The National Board for Respiratory CareAHA Provider Level BLSNRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
