Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks *36 hours or 48 hours hours can be offered. SHIFT: 12 HOUR NIGHTS Float Requirement: Yes. Weekend Requirement: Every Other.PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Renal and limb preservation patients (lower extremity), patients include ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, diabetic foot ulcerSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit is a 41 bed inpatient unit with telemetry capability with a focus on renal and limb preservation patients. Patients who receive hemodialysis will receive treatments in our hemodialysis unit. Peritoneal dialysis patients will receive treatments on the unit with initiation by the dialysis team. Our interdisciplinary team consists of: hospitalist, RN navigator, RNs, NAs, receptionist, dietary, PT/OT, pharmacy. This team meets on a daily basis to ensure best care is provided for our patients. UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Self-Scheduling, per the Unit Needs UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours of orientation (2 shifts with preceptor plus EMR education) SCRUBS: Not provided – Colors: Navy or White
