Job CoachThe Job Coach supports adults with developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful employment and greater independence. Through job coaching, skill development, and community-based support, Job Coaches help clients succeed at work and in their communities. Based on the responsibilities described in Job Coach.Responsibilities:Provide job coaching, behavioral support, and workplace guidance while promoting safety, independence, and successful participation in work and community settingsImplement client goals by teaching job tasks, breaking work into manageable steps, and adapting support as neededTransport and accompany clients to work sites, community activities, and other approved locationsFacilitate learning and skill-building activities that support employment and independenceRespond appropriately to behavioral, emotional, safety, and emergency situations using approved intervention strategiesComplete accurate and timely electronic documentation in accordance with agency, Medicaid, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with supervisors, residential staff, coworkers, and program personnel, and provide coverage across program sites as neededQualifications:High School Diploma requiredBasic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and Google WorkspacePrevious experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferredExperience coaching, mentoring, teaching, or providing direct support preferredPosition includes a competitive benefits package that includes a 403B retirement plan, sick and vacation paid time off (PTO) and health insurance.
