Estate Planning Attorney

A well-established Joliet-area law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its team. This is an in-office position offering the opportunity to build and manage a robust estate planning practice while working closely with clients throughout the Joliet and southwest suburban Chicago area. Responsibilities Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents tailored to client needs Advise clients on estate planning strategies, asset protection, and wealth transfer Guide clients and families through probate administration and estate settlement Conduct client consultations to assess needs and develop customized estate plans Handle real estate matters related to estate planning, including property transfers into trusts and title issues Present educational seminars on estate planning topics to community groups and organizations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant state and federal laws affecting estate planning and probate Manage client files, deadlines, and case workflow with attention to detail and confidentiality Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Illinois (required); additional state admissions a plus Minimum 3-5 years of legal experience; estate planning, probate, real estate, or family law experience strongly preferred Excellent drafting, communication, and client relationship skills Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal supervision Familiarity with real estate transactions and title work a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail What We Offer Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Predictable, manageable caseload compared to litigation-heavy practice areas Opportunity for growth and increased client ownership within the firm Collaborative, in-office team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Elevate Talent Advisors LLC
