Job Description
As an MEP Estimator you will:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to align estimates with project goals.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and labor rates in Buffalo.
- Support value engineering efforts to optimize project costs and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors in the Property industry.

The Successful Applicant
A successful MEP Estimator should have:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret building and construction drawings and specifications accurately.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Local to Buffalo, Albany, or Syracuse NY
