Senior Machine Learning Scientist

To shape underwriting and credit science across multiple products, the full-time remote Senior Machine Learning Scientist will develop and optimize credit strategies, leveraging alternative data to enhance decision-making and improve member outcomes. Key responsibilities Develop and optimize underwriting, settlement, and collection strategies for ExtraCash, FlexCard, and Rent Build ML- and AI-enabled credit strategies using diverse data sources while managing methodology and validation processes Design experimentation and evaluation frameworks to monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging opportunities or risks Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in consumer credit risk, underwriting, or predictive analytics, preferably in fintech Strong hands-on experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and production decision systems Proficiency in Python and SQL Experience developing credit strategies across the product lifecycle Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, mathematics, or engineering
