Jump-start your career as an Outpatient Wound Care RN with TriStar Summit Medical Center Advanced Wound Care Center! Summit is the busiest level 3 trauma hospital in Tennessee. In this position you will be working in a 35-bed Acute Medical Care/Oncology Unit that primarily cares for acute adult with a variety of different medical diagnoses. Our oncology population provides our nurses the opportunity to become chemotherapy certified and provides the opportunity to care for a number of Hospice and Palliative Care patients. Learn More About Employee Benefits Job Summary And Qualifications Out Patient Wound Care RN RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state. Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree is preferred. BLS required, and must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer. At least one‑year clinical nursing experience preferred. TriStar Summit is a 234-bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services. These include cardiology, oncology, orthopedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI.
