OB/GYN Physician

Overview Brightpoint Health is a leading nonprofit provider of integrated health care for New Yorkers. We have a great opportunity in our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) for a dedicated board certified OB/GYN to join our expanding women’s health practice committed to delivering top quality patient care. This busy practice currently consists of two highly-trained Board Certified OB/GYN Physicians with extensive surgical experience and certified nurse midwives responsible for normal in hospital obstetrics. There is a balanced mix of OB and GYN patients with the opportunity to perform major gynecological surgeries. Responsibilities Provide OB/GYN medical care within an FQHC setting, including in-hospital obstetrics for normal deliveries as part of a team with physicians and nurse midwives. Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN physicians, CNMs, and other health professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Perform major gynecological surgeries as appropriate to the practice and patient needs. Participate in on-call rotations as required. Qualifications NY State license and OB/GYN board eligibility or certification required. New graduates with strong surgical skills encouraged to apply.
