Travel CT Technologist - $2,046 per week

Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Portland, Oregon. The role involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, ensuring image quality, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiology staff. Essential Work Functions Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure proper functionality. Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist. Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT certification. Other certifications and licenses relevant to CT technologist duties. Physical & Technical Requirements Must remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Must work effectively with a variety of personnel, presenting a positive attitude and professionalism. Must possess fine motor skills for manipulation during procedures. Must cope with frequent contact with the public and meet deadlines under pressure. Must handle irregular activity schedules and maintain continuous concentration to detail. Must possess visual acuity and effective communication skills. Must have proficiency in PC skills and ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
