Lead CT/X-Ray Technologist

Lead CT/X-Ray Technologist overseeing daily imaging operations, ensuring diagnostic quality, safety, and patient care in a patient-focused department. Responsible for supervising technologists, performing imaging procedures, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support radiologic and CT technologists within the imaging department.
• Perform and oversee diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and general radiography.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance and service as needed.
• Develop and train staff, providing mentorship to team members.
• Monitor workflow and scheduling to optimize department efficiency.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and policy development.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current ARRT certification (R and CT).
• Valid Arizona state license or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, including CT and X-ray modalities.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
