Job Description \n LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/14/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 48 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n DCH - Travel: CSICU/CSU RN \n HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND \n Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. \n 2 years of recent CVICU experience is required. \n Our Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) \n is a four 4-bed unit that directs its resources principally towards the care of adult and geriatric patients with cardiac \n , thoracic, vascular and other surgical conditions requiring critical care located on 4 North. \n The care of these patients is primarily focused on post-operative recovery and providing complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring. \n Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency. \n CSU is an 8 bed stepdown unit. \n The stepdown unit focuses on the care and recovery of patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery. \n Both units are supported by a cardiovascular educator. \n Together we specialize in the patient centered approach to care. \n Our team is dedicated to making our patient’s experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment. \n Education - Required \n Associated degree in nursing \n Certifications – Required \n AHA BLS \n OR RED CROSS \n AHA NIH \n Certifications – Preferred \n AHA PALS – if working in pediatric unit \n Licenses – Required \n Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted) \n NURSYS \n Experience - Required: \n • 2 years' experience; must have 2 years of experience in the field of specialty. \n Day 1 Dental, Health, Vision insurance.
