Nuclear Medicine Tech - West Winfield, New York

Seeking a skilled professional to provide advanced imaging services in a dynamic environment focused on Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures. This contract role requires expertise with GE Discovery IQ equipment and a commitment to service excellence over a 13-week assignment.


Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Tuesday through Friday, day shifts

Qualifications:

• Experience operating GE Discovery IQ and other GE imaging equipment is essential
• Must possess dual certification:
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) and
  • ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
• Holds active New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
• Demonstrated experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scanning techniques
• Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Operate and ensure proper maintenance of GE Discovery IQ and related equipment
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Deliver high-quality patient care throughout the imaging process
• Record, analyze, and process imaging results for physician review
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of patient care
