Job Title IV Infusion Nurse Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented IV Infusion Nurse to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering intravenous therapies, monitoring patients throughout treatment, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, patient-focused, and experienced in infusion therapy within a hospital, outpatient clinic, specialty pharmacy, or infusion center setting. Responsibilities Administer IV medications, biologics, hydration therapies, blood products, and other infusion treatments according to physician orders and established protocols. Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments. Start and maintain peripheral IV lines and access implanted ports, PICC lines, and central venous catheters as appropriate. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly to infusion-related complications. Document all treatments, patient assessments, and interventions accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR). Educate patients and caregivers regarding infusion therapy, medication side effects, and aftercare instructions. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements. Manage infusion supplies and assist with inventory control as needed. Essential Skills Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current BLS certification. Experience administering IV infusions and starting peripheral IVs. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Strong understanding of infusion medications and contraindications. Additional Skills & Qualifications Oncology, biologics, immunology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, neurology, or specialty infusion experience. ACLS certification. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred. Experience with EMR systems. Infusion Nursing Certification (CRNI) or willingness to obtain. Work Environment 100% onsite in a medical office setting. Shift Mondays-Fridays 8:30am-5pm. Work independently and as part of a greater medical office team. Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Coral Gables, FL. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $76,000.00 - $86,000.00/yr.
