About the Role

We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Eating Disorder Therapist to join our team. The ideal clinician has experience working with individuals experiencing eating disorders and is passionate about providing evidence-based, nonjudgmental care.

Clinicians will have opportunities to provide individual therapy while collaborating with families and other professionals to support clients throughout their recovery.

Areas of Expertise

Experience working with the following is highly valued:

• Anorexia nervosa
• Bulimia nervosa
• Binge Eating Disorder
• Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
• Body image concerns
• Emotional regulation
• Co-occurring mental health concerns

Experience with evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, or ACT is preferred.

What You'll Do

• Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide high-quality, client-centered individual therapy
• Support clients in developing healthier relationships with food and their bodies
• Provide education, support, and resources to families and loved ones
• Collaborate with dietitians, medical providers, and other professionals as appropriate
• Maintain a caseload of 27+ sessions per week
• Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in staff meetings, consultation, supervision, and ongoing training
• Stay current with developments and evidence-based practices in eating disorder treatment

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
• Active Texas licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with eating disorders
• Strong understanding of evidence-based eating disorder treatment
• Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
• Empathetic, patient, and nonjudgmental approach to care
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
