Pay: $2,984.00 weekly

Shifts: M-F 8am-8pm; on call required for overnights and weekends

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Endoscopy and GI procedures for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings, focusing on patient care and support in endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities of the RN Endoscopy / GI

Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns
Observing patient vital signs
Sedating patients before procedures
Recovering patients after procedures
Administering the necessary medication to patients
Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents
Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure
Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use
Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure
Administering IV drips

Requirements of the RN Endoscopy / GI

NY license ONLY
BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
2 years previous endoscopy procedure experience
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification required
Conscious sedation
Expert IV insertion
Recovering patients from general anesthesia required
Performing intake for GI procedures
