Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Hours/Week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: Kansas RN or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIH

Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ICU/Critical Care experience

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care in a hybrid ICU/PCU setting, managing a diverse patient population, including neuro, spine, cardiac, and medical-surgical cases.
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, including those requiring balloon pump, CRRT, Impella, and open-heart procedures.
• Initiate and conduct patient assessments, draw labs, and manage vascular access such as PICC lines.
• Call on your own consults, conduct codes, and respond swiftly to emergency situations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Floats to other inpatient units as needed, including PCU, med-surg, telemetry, and emergency departments.

What You Need

• Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU or Critical Care experience
• Proficiency with balloon pump, CRRT, Impella, open-heart procedures, and managing code situations

• Experience with vascular access and drawing labs independently
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environments
