Media Ministry Assistant

Description:
The Media & Production Assistant provides support for the Church’s media and production
ministries by assisting with the technical aspects of worship services, special events, and other
ministry activities. This position helps ensure that audio, video, presentation, and livestream
systems effectively support the worship and ministry of First Baptist Church while assisting in
the coordination of Media Team volunteers.

Responsibilities:

Media & Production
* Coordinate media support for worship services, Bible studies, and special events, including
audio, video, presentation media, and livestreaming.
* Assist in the operation, maintenance, and stewardship of audiovisual and media equipment.
* Coordinate Media Team volunteer schedules and provide support to volunteers serving in
media and production ministries.
* Recommend improvements to media systems and technology as appropriate.

Administration
* Collaborate with church staff and ministry leaders to identify production needs for worship
services and special events.
* Maintain Media Team schedules, records, and digital media resources.

Qualifications
* Demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and affirm the doctrines of First Baptist
Church and the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
* Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate proficiency in audio/video systems, presentation software, livestreaming, and
related technology.
* Demonstrate the ability to train and work effectively with volunteers.

General Expectations
* Abide by, support, and uphold the mission, vision, Constitution and By-Laws, Personnel
Handbook, and other policies of First Baptist Church.
* Maintain conduct consistent with Christian ministry and professional standards.
* Pursue ongoing professional development related to media, production, and technology.
* Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position.
