Some Weekends will be Required)This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLoads product on the trailer using a packing list to verify that all parts are accounted forPlaces parts on the trailer in a safe hauling manner in accordance with manufacturing procedures to ensure the product does not get damaged during shipmentKnows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environmentPackage, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loadingPackages parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as requiredResponsible for each lift and decides when to check actual vs. maximum allowable trailer loadConstantly check each load being made to assure that the job is completeExpedite completion of work in process to meet production schedulesAssist with inventory counts as requiredMaintains continuous improvement practices in work areaMay be assigned other projects or duties as designated by the Team LeaderQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Previous work experience in warehouse environment preferredAbility to operate forklifts and other lifting equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistAdditional InformationSite Address: 3838 N General Bruce Dr. Temple, TX 76501This is a position with the potential overtime.
