Cardiac Anesthesiology opening in Mason City, IA - Visa EligibleLocated in Mason City, IA - Minneapolis 120m; Des Moines 120mFull-time; PermanentEmployedH1B Eligible Overview: Opportunity to join an established Anesthesia group providing coverage across a regional referral medical center and ambulatory surgery center Fellowship-trained Cardiac Anesthesiology position Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship required or TEE certification accepted Coverage includes Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Pediatric, OB, and General Anesthesia cases Cardiac surgery coverage with dedicated Cardiac call Monday-Thursday General weekend call approximately six weekends annually plus one holiday per year Additional call compensation for cardiac anesthesia procedures performed while on call Oversight and collaboration with CRNAs If no cardiac cases are scheduled, physicians participate in general anesthesia coverage Collaborative team environment with shared call responsibilities and balanced case distribution Level III Trauma Center--- Comp/Benefits: One-year guaranteed salary of $700,000 $100,000 recruitment bonus package Relocation assistance up to $15,000 Annual CME allowance of $6,000 Paid malpractice with tail coverage Health, dental, and vision insurance Generous PTO package Excellent retirement plans Comprehensive benefits package--- Group/Facility Info: Established anesthesia team consisting of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital Level III Trauma Center More than 300 physicians across nearly all medical and surgical specialties 24/7 Hospitalist coverage Cardiology Fellowship, Palliative Care Fellowship, Family Medicine Residency, and Internal Medicine Residency programs Regional referral center serving northern Iowa and southern Minnesota Advanced cardiovascular, surgical, and critical care services* Full-service hospital with extensive specialty support and modern procedural facilities-- About the Area:Mason City is the largest urban center in northern Iowa and offers an affordable, family-friendly lifestyle with excellent schools and a cost of living significantly below the national average.
