We are hiring an Escrow Officer in Hamilton, MT.

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Escrow Officer to manage real estate transactions from file opening through closing and post-closing. - Manage escrow files from opening through closing and post-closing, ensuring transactions are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.
- Prepare, review, and manage escrow documents, closing statements, title documents, lender instructions, payoff statements, lien releases, insurance documents, and other required materials.
- Review title commitments and tax certificates, identify title issues or exceptions, and coordinate resolution with the appropriate parties.
- Meet with attorneys, realtors, lenders, buyers, sellers, and clients to draft, review, and explain escrow instructions, agreements, and closing documents.
- Conduct closings both on-site and off-site, oversee the execution of required documents, and disburse funds in accordance with company procedures and customer or lender requirements.
- Administer trust accounts in accordance with company policy and handle confidential transaction information with discretion.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external clients by phone, email, and in person to answer questions and support smooth, timely closings.
- Participate in business development efforts, attend community and real estate events, and build and maintain a book of business through proactive relationship building and client engagement.
- Support and promote the company's core values, goals, and culture, while adapting to changing responsibilities and procedures with a positive, productive attitude.

- Comfortable learning and using escrow/title software and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
- Experience building relationships with real estate professionals, lenders, clients, and community partners is a plus
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the escrow or title industry
- Must have or be able to obtain a producer license within 90 days, if applicable by state
- Must have or be able to obtain a Notary Public commission within 90 days
- Experience with residential, construction, and basic commercial transactions preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company or personal vehicle for business purposes, including errands, training, client meetings, community events, and off-site closings
- Ability to pass a background check and MVR
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
