Instrumentation and Controls Engineer II

Role Overview The I&C Engineer II is responsible for supporting the design, specification, procurement, and documentation of instrumentation and control systems for large frame gas turbines and associated balance‑of‑plant systems. This role focuses on execution, technical accuracy, and collaboration across project teams. Key Responsibilities Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer‑focused, developing self & others, and ownership Review customer contract requirements and support instrumentation scope definition Develop and maintain instrumentation procurement schedules Prepare technical specifications and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) Review and validate vendor quotations for compliance Verify instrumentation against P&IDs and develop instrument indexes/lists Create and maintain instrument loops, datasheets, and associated drawings Provide design input documentation required for I/O list development Support resolution of customer comments on drawings and documentation Collaborate with internal teams (design, operations, procurement, sales) Interface with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support project execution Support development and maintenance of I&C procedures and checklists Assist with troubleshooting and problem‑solving at project sites Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ISA, ANSI/NEMA, NFPA, AGA, etc.) Support vendor qualification activities as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr PowerToFly
