Position: Attorney

Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana | Remote flexibility for the right candidate

Compensation: $80,000–$150,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates

About:

I'm partnering with a collaborative, full-service law practice in Louisiana to identify attorneys for three opportunities across civil/business litigation, employment law, and criminal law.

Opportunities are available for attorneys at various career stages, from recent graduates to experienced counsel, depending on the position and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Manage assigned cases and assist with all phases of litigation.
\n
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
\n
• Prepare for hearings, depositions, negotiations, and trials, as applicable.
\n
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel regarding case strategy and developments.
\n
• Develop legal strategies, evaluate claims and defenses, and support favorable case outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate case records, monitor deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
\n
• Active Louisiana bar admission or eligibility appropriate to the position.
\n
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
\n
• Interest or experience in the litigation practice area.
\n
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working collaboratively with colleagues.
\n

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $150,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
