Electrical Engineer

Electrical EngineerWe are seeking an Electrical Engineer with a broad skillset and a willingness to expand into new areas. This role will support our Semiconductor Reconditioning shop which cleans, repairs and tests electro-mechanical assemblies for semiconductor tooling. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical engineering fundamentals, testing software development, hands-on implementation experience, and a willingness to work with a cross-functional team and expand their skillset into areas typically not seen by electrical engineers.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair electrical issues on valves, controllers, PCBs and other components from semiconductor tooling.Update and maintain internally developed software for automated test systems.Document product and test system electrical schematics and cable pin-outs.Evaluate and help quote potential new products.Develop and document testing protocols and write software for automated testing systems when needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.Proficiency with electrical schematic tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, Visio or similar) including drawing standards and revision control.Experience with electrical fault diagnosis and repair, including surface mount and through hole component soldering.Working knowledge of industrial networks and interfaces (e.g., DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, IO-Link, serial as applicable) and basic instrumentation.Experience with Python or C programming.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear technical communication.Preferred Skills:Hands-on experience with other manufacturing techniques outside of electrical systems. Basic hand tools, Manual lathe/mill, and chemical handling systems are preferable.
