ESY SLP - Speech Language Pathologist - School

Job Description Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Extended School Year (ESY) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Uxbridge, MA area. This position involves providing speech and language therapy services to students during the ESY program. Responsibilities: Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct prehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Intervention and Therapy: Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective munication strategies and support plans. IEP Development: Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, treatment plans, and other required documentation. Training and Support: Provide training and support to school staff and parents on speech and language development and intervention strategies. Professional Development: Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development. Requirements: Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Licensure: Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts. Certification: Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable. Skills: Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
