1st Shift Assembly- Plastics

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Trim and Finish position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards building a quality product in the time allocated. The Trim and Finish position transforms raw materials and purchased parts into completed products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs Standard Work and any Supervisor/Lead requests

• Follows all Safety Procedures

• Performs finishing operations on parts to produce a finished product.

• Identifies and reports any scrapped product.

• Packages and skids finished product.

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to read and write.

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Light lifting, under 20 lbs.

• Light carrying, under 20 lbs.

• Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs.

Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
