Dental Assistant Department: Dental Assistants Employment Type: Full Time Location: Blue Sky Dental Group Reporting To: Tarah Smith Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 / hour Description Blue Sky Dental Group is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities What You’ll Be Responsible For In this role, success looks like supporting providers efficiently, creating a smooth patient experience, and maintaining a well-organized clinical environment. Key responsibilities include: Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Taking and processing dental X-rays Providing excellent chairside support and patient education Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards Updating and maintaining accurate patient records Supporting front office or clinical team needs as required Skills, Knowledge & Expertise What We’re Looking For Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience (state requirements apply) Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting Why Join Blue Sky Dental Group?
