Phlebotomist Casual

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a casual phlebotomist for a Patient Service Center or Client office in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing blood collections, providing customer service, and maintaining specimen records. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm with rotating weekends, with flexible hours typical of casual positions.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses
Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Minimum three months phlebotomy experience
Proven exceptional customer service track record
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility
