Job Description:


- Shift: 19:00 - 07:00
- Location: Emergency Department, 1801 Ashley Circle, Bowling Green, KY 42104
- Current Daily Volume: 105
- Number of Beds: 20
- Patient Ratios: 4:1

Unit Staffing Description:
- RN
- Unit Clerk/Monitor Tech
- Paramedic
- Advanced Care Tech

Equipment and Documentation:
- GE Monitors
- Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements:
- Every Other Weekend
- 36 Hours/Week (12 Hour Shifts)

Floating Policy:
- No Floating

Patient Experience Requirements:
- Utilize AIDET
- Communication Boards
- Rounding

Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing, treating, and managing adult and pediatric emergency patients collaboratively
- Providing an excellent patient experience
- Delivering clearly defined discharge instructions
- Ensuring patient-centered care with quality and efficiency

Emergency Nurse Competencies:
- Advanced skills needed:
- Laceration Repairs
- Closed Reductions
- Intubations
- Lumbar Punctures
- Incision and Drainage (I&Ds)
- Splinting

Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS

Dress Code:
- Scrubs (Any color)
- Solid pants
- Print tops and jackets allowed
- No camo, denim, hoodies, or fleece
