Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during their shift, providing exceptional customer service, and leading the team to meet our high standards of hospitality. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage various aspects of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
• Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
• Assist in budgeting and financial management, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
• Handle POS systems efficiently for accurate transaction processing.
• Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices in hospitality.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management on catering events and special promotions.

Experience

• Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, inventory control, and food management practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems and their operation in a restaurant setting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of catering services is a plus but not required.
