Senior Mechanical Engineer

Palmer Group has partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you'll oversee advanced design projects, guide junior team members, and ensure project success through technical proficiency and strategic oversight. You'll also play a pivotal role in decision-making, tackle on-site challenges, and support business growth.

• Manage comprehensive mechanical design initiatives across projects of varying scope and complexity
• Lead critical design decision-making with limited input from senior leadership
• Coordinate and assign design responsibilities across multiple teams and disciplines
• Mentor junior engineers, offering technical guidance
• Evaluate and refine technical documentation and communications prepared by junior team members
• Perform comprehensive quality assurance and engage in review sessions for major, complex initiatives
• Address field concerns, including on-site visits and hands-on troubleshooting, with minimal guidance

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Professional Engineer license
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and operate as a subject matter expert
