An inpatient pharmacist role is available for a contract assignment in Camp Point, IL, supporting a 327-bed hospital. The position requires working overnight shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a flexible start time.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications for inpatient use in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Utilize AllScripts EMR software and Omnicell medication cabinets effectively.
• Prepare intravenous (IV) medications as needed with hands-on involvement.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and accurate medication management.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Prior experience working overnight shifts highly preferred.
• Ability and willingness to prepare IV admixtures.
• Familiarity with AllScripts EMR system is a significant advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Location:

• Camp Point, IL — near the southwest corner of Illinois bordering Missouri.
• Accessible to Springfield, IL, and St. Louis, MO metropolitan areas.

Contract Details:

• Immediate start preferred.
• Duration between 10 and 13 weeks.
• Overnight shifts, 7 days on followed by 7 days off.
