The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages experiencing emergencies. The nurse will work collaboratively within a team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department. Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications as required. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental improvements. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license in the State of Tennessee. ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications are required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
