About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for its Center for Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine. The SVP will be responsible for providing clinical, academic, and administrative leadership to the Center of Excellence, which includes a wide range of divisions and programs in the fields of neurology, epilepsy, neurophysiology, hearing and speech, neuropsychology, psychology, physical medicine and rehab, neurosurgery, psychiatry, neurodevelopmental pediatrics, and neurogenetics. This role demands a visionary leader with a strong academic background, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in clinical and financial management. The SVP will oversee the Center's financial performance, ensure the development of personnel and resources, and maintain a culture of clinical excellence, quality, and safety. Collaboration with the executive leadership team, particularly in the areas of strategic planning, human capital, and philanthropy, is essential. Candidates for the SVP position must have a Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree and a minimum of 10 years' post-training clinical and management experience, preferably in neurology or behavioral health. The role requires expertise in interpersonal communication, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to motivate others. The SVP will be involved in all aspects of the Center's operations, from strategic planning to financial management, and must be adept at fostering internal and external relationships. The position also involves a significant focus on education and research, including the oversight of clinical research and the solicitation of philanthropic support. The ideal candidate will be a recognized leader in their field, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
