HVAC Systems Installation Specialist — Maryville, Illinois

As an HVAC Systems Installation Specialist, you’ll install residential and light commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and indoor air quality solutions with accuracy, safety, and pride.

• Arrive prepared to install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, ventilation systems, and IAQ components.
• Remove and replace outdated systems following company procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble, and fit ductwork and related accessories to design.
• Interpret blueprints, job specs, and installation manuals to plan the work sequence.
• Complete installations that meet local codes, safety rules, and internal quality standards.
• Start up, test, and verify system performance to ensure everything operates as intended.
• Document installation details, materials used, and job notes with accuracy.
• Walk customers through system operation and care, answering questions clearly.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly from arrival to final sweep.
• Coordinate with service technicians, project managers, and teammates to deliver on schedule.
• Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all types of weather.
• Comfort working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined spaces.
• Mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting instincts.
• Clear communication and strong customer service skills.

• EPA Section 608 Certification.
• HVAC certification from an accredited trade school.
• Background in sheet metal work and duct installation.
• NATE Certification or motivation to earn it.
• Working knowledge of residential and light commercial systems.

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods.
• Comfort operating in varying temperatures and outdoor environments.
