Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bangor, ME , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing operations, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify designated site contacts and/or emergency responders as required. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while supporting a professional environment at an industrial location. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
