Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a license in NJ and be willing to work in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and goals
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Monitor patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies

Skills:

• Proficiency in outpatient physical therapy
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Experience in manual therapy
• Ability to work with pediatric patients
• Excellent patient care skills
