As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Windsor NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or authorized individuals while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities at a government correctional location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as directed and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents disturbances alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols incidents observations and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reports and systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of armed security-related law enforcement or military experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
