RN - PICC Profession: Nursing Specialty: IV Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU or ER experience, some infusion experience preferred License: Valid driver's license and current auto insurance, working vehicle Certifications: PICC Certification preferred Must-Have: Mid-line and PICC placement experience Description:Assesses the patient's need for placement of a vascular access device.Determines the appropriate type of device to place and location for placement.Ensures the safety of line placement.Acts as an expert in vascular access ultrasound guided line placement, including peripheral lines, midline catheters, and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters.Provides expert guidance to team members with the management of vascular access devices.Coordinates, teaches, and supervises care for a group of patients usually in the home setting.Participates in troubleshooting vascular access issues.Availability for on-call coverage during weekends and holidays as needed.Responds to on-call situations within 30 minutes. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
