Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role located in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial, commercial, and residential settings, including mining, construction, and quarry operations. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications, performing wiring and conduit installation, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes. The Electrician will conduct routine inspections, test systems for safety and reliability, document work performed, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to support consulting projects. The role requires adherence to strict safety standards, use of appropriate personal protective equipment, and clear communication with clients and coworkers. Qualifications Strong practical skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for industrial, commercial, and residential environments. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation. Knowledge of NEC and relevant local and state electrical codes, along with solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Proficiency with common electrical tools and test equipment, including multimeters, circuit testers, and hand/power tools. Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accurate documentation of work. Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with consultants, clients, and field personnel. Valid electrician license or certification in Tennessee (or ability to obtain), and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to job sites. Prior experience working in mining, construction, quarry, or related heavy industry environments is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or technical training is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
