Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM. No weekend shifts are required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in surgical settings to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, Spine, Vascular, ENT, General, and Gyn. This position requires proficiency in circulating for a variety of procedures and scrubbing for vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Handle pre-operative and post-operative patient needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using EPIC.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required, estimated at 48-56 hours over a 6-week schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Proficient in scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Must have experience in Orthopedics and Spine.
• Registered Nurse License in the applicable state.
