Event and Marketing Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities Coordinate timely mailing of monthly Footnotes and other department/agency mailings Coordinate the printing, distribution and scheduling of interior cards, rider alerts, take-ones and other advertising and marketing materials Process and maintain all department purchase orders Coordinate and staff internal and external special events Coordinate special projects as assigned Work with vendors to obtain quotes and order promotional items Oversee the maintenance of marketing files, including the online photo archive Act as point person for team schedules and appointments Assist with the tracking and reporting of community sponsorships, chamber memberships, and agency team participation in regional leadership roles Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a strong desire to encourage collaboration and respect Must be fluent in Microsoft Outlook and familiar with Smartsheet project coordination tools Ability to work under pressure, to be flexible, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Must be a critical thinker, with good organization and accuracy, with the ability to respectfully deliver a point-of-view Must be able to effectively present work and ask for and receive feedback from team members An interest in public transportation and urban planning desired but not required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 5 years' work experience in marketing, communications, and/or event planning Must have event coordination experience Must have administrative experience, an eye for detail, and be self‑motivated Must be willing to grow and expand your skill set Must be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident and eligible to work in the U.S. as determined by U.S. Immigration Laws and the Department of Homeland Security. Salary Pay Grade 4 | $52,402 – $86,911 *Foothill Transit reserves the right to make a salary offer at any value within the range; however, most offers will be in the first 50% of the overall range.
