What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Assist with C-Section procedures and initial newborn care
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, report findings promptly
• Support various obstetric conditions such as labor and pre-eclampsia
• Operate birthing tubs and other special equipment
• Collaborate with medical team to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Respond to emergency situations, including urgent responses to labor/delivery complications

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana or able to obtain one
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM certifications required; AWHONN Advanced preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in OB/Labor & Delivery setting
• Ability to work night shift and adapt to emergency team assignments as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
