Financial Management Analyst

Job Overview You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL. Salary ranges: GS-12: $101,375 – $131,790; GS-11: $84,579 – $109,959. Qualifications For the GS-12 position: Reviewing, validating, and establishing funding documents in accordance with guidelines. Ensuring proper authorization, accuracy, and availability of funds. Conducting detailed reconciliation and analysis of prior year accounting transactions. Preparing and delivering financial reports, data calls, and briefings to leadership, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. For the GS-11 position: Ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. Maintaining financial records and ensuring records are following management compliance. Analyzing financial data to identify discrepancies and trends. Performing daily reconciliation of financial transactions between the General Ledger and feeder systems to ensure data integrity.
