We offer an excellent compensation package Job Description Job details: Title: Accountant; Location: Las Vegas, NV; Duration: 3+ months KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Performs daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes to properly record and classify financial transactions for RCM Prepares month-end journal entries to record transactions to the financial statements. Assists Senior Accountants with any research of monthly journal entry related questions. Prepare client invoice for specified billing terms per the contractual agreement. Monitor aging of receivables and follow-up with client regarding any past due balances. Demonstrates superior customer service for both internal and external customers. Works closely with operation departments to ensure internal compliance guidelines are followed. Develop and implement best practices in all areas of RCM Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Four year college graduate with a major in Accounting or equivalent preferred. One to two years of accounting or related experience, preferably in the gaming and/or hotel industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office Familiarity of state regulations Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles GAAP. Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet assigned deadlines as required Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business WORK ENVIRONMENT Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment. Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory Looking for a degree in accounting or finance. Excel skills, at an intermediate level. Able to work alone in a busy environment.
